The Photographers David MacDonald FBIPP FMPA Although only forty five years of age, David's list of accolades is pretty well unparalleled. Currently the Kodak U.K. Portrait Photographer Of The Year, he is the only wedding photographer in Hertfordshire to hold a Fellowship in Wedding Photography (one of only a dozen or so in the U.K.), as well as having three times made the final three in the U.K. Wedding Photographer of the Year. He has won two other United Kingdom titles, the U.K. Family Portrait Photographer of the Year and the U.K. Under Five Year Old's Photographer of the Year, as well as a further three times being in the final three in other portrait categories. Such is his reputation in the industry that he is regularly asked to lecture to photographers all over Europe, judge work for the BIPP, MPA and Kodak and has been commissioned for work as far afield as Australia and the Carribean. David has said that he feels more alive with a camera in his hand than almost any other time. It is this passion that drives his work to such levels, and proves infectious to his clients; who soon forget how concerned they were about being photographed, as they are swept along by his enthusiasm. Marcus Perry ABIPP Although just thirty two years of age, Marcus already has sixteen years experience in the industry. Marcus joined David P. MacDonald Photography in 2000. He had already shown his ability by having achieved his City and Guilds in Professional Photography and having gained his Licentiateship with the BIPP. However, being part of such an exciting, forward looking team pushed him to new levels of excellence. Marcus has won awards both in the Central region and taking on London's best, culminating in recently having his qualification upgraded to Associateship by the British Institute of Professional Photography. A genuine nice guy, feedback from Marcus' clients is always excellent. Marcus became a father for the first time in January 2006, which seems to have had the effect of taking his baby photography to even greater heights. Gary Chilton ABIPP At forty seven years of age and having just become a grandfather, Gary is the oldest photographer in the company. You would never know it though, as you see him bounce around the studio with boundless energy. Currently the Kodak U.K. Under 5's Portrait Photographer Of The Year, Gary has been a photographer for a twenty nine years. He has won many awards both in the Central region of the BIPP, the London Region and nationally in the Kodak wedding and portrait awards. He achieved his Associateship with the BIPP in 1990. With this experience and talent, Gary fitted easily into the team when he joined in 2002 and soon became immersed in the David P. MacDonald Photography way. Such is his popularity with his clients that he is regularly looked up by past wedding clients to photograph their babies. He has even photographed second generation weddings; weddings of couples where he had photographed their parents weddings!
